CIO 2024 Madrid: Organizational Engineering, coping with complexity
Since the approval in 2015 by United Nations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), researchers in any field are trying to develop relevant knowledge to cope with complex real-world problems, using a transdisciplinary approach. In this respect, Organizational Engineering (OE) academics have developed a broad range of competencies for networking with different stakeholders and navigating focused dynamic processes as suggested by SDG 17.
The purpose of 2024 conference was to celebrate OE researchers work on complex SDG problems and facilitated links between researchers and practitioners from different branches, enhancing a transdisciplinary and cross-sectoral perspective. Thus, the motto in this edition was “Organizational Engineering, coping with complexity”, as a means to showcase the value of OE approaches and methods when dealing with relevant societal concerns.
This book includes the abstract of all the contributions presented during the conference.
